Overview

Ctrl+Alt+Reclaim is a pan-European youth movement advocating for tech justice and digital rights across EU member states. Formed in 2024 by young activists from across Europe, the initiative engages citizens, policymakers, and press around a shared vision: a digital world where technology serves people, not profits.

The brief was to translate a bold activist identity into a multilingual digital presence that could communicate clearly across Europe — serving as the movement’s central hub for campaigns, press coverage, and stakeholder engagement.

Process

Working from an existing visual identity and tone-of-voice guide, I first designed in figma and then built the website in Webflow, ensuring the design system and brand elements were implemented consistently. This included careful attention to typography, color balance, and dynamic layouts that reflect the movement’s youthful, activist spirit.

I focused on creating a site that feels bold yet approachable, with clear navigation, well-structured content, and engaging visual hierarchy. The build was CMS-friendly, allowing the team to easily manage press updates, campaigns, and movement news without external support.

In addition, I optimized the site for performance, SEO, and accessibility, ensuring that it works smoothly across all devices and meets modern web standards.

Outcome

The finished website captures the energy and mission of Ctrl+Alt+Reclaim — combining professionalism with the creativity and authenticity of a youth movement. It provides a strong foundation for storytelling, outreach, and media visibility while staying true to the provided brand identity.

The finished site serves as the primary dissemination and communications channel for a pan-European civil society initiative — multilingual, accessible, and built for long-term maintenance by a non-technical team without ongoing developer support.

Let's work together.

Building a digital presence that needs to stay clear, accessible, and up to date? I design and build digital experiences that connect content, context, and place — from websites to map-based interfaces — and support communication over time.
